The Achaemenid Falcon or Shahbaz, royal symbol of the Achaemenid dynasty of the ancient kingdom of Persia.
The family tree of the Achaemenid Dynasty of Persia came to rule Egypt twice as its 27th and 31st Dynasties. The dynasty was founded and named after Achaemenes, who was a minor ruler of Anshan and vassal of Assyria.[1] It rose to become a world empire under Cyrus the Great, whose son and successor, Cambyses II, conquered Egypt and became the first Achaemenid pharaoh.
