Ammeris (Greek: Ἀμμέρις) was Governor of Sais of the Kushite Twenty-fifth Dynasty during the Third Intermediate Period. His original name is lost, but it was evidently hellenized to Ammeris or Ameres. His name is only attested on Eusebius' epitome of Manetho's Aegyptiaca. Ammeris was of Nubian origin and appointed as a replacement for Pharaoh Bakenrenef of Sais by Shabataka after the Nubian ruler had defeated his Saite rival. However, a Saite dynasty was later restored by Tefnakhte II as the Twenty-sixth Dynasty. Ammeris served as local governor from 713 to 695/685 BC.
