Ankyronpolis (Koine Greek: Ἀγκυρῶνπόλις), or Tayu-Djayet in ancient Egyptian (transliteration: tꜣyw-ḏꜣyt), is an ancient Egyptian city on the east bank of the Nile, located in Upper Egypt. It was the capital city of Nemty, the eighteenth nome of Upper Egypt. The ancient city is located at the modern site of el-Hiba (Arabic: الحيبة).
