Asphynis (ancient Egyptian: ḥwt-snfrw, modern: Asfun) is an Ancient Egyptian town in Upper Egypt, located on the west bank of the Nile. It was governed under Nekhen, the third nome of Upper Egypt.

The town's main deity was Hemen, a falcon god unified with Horus as Horus-Hemen, lord of Asphynis.[1]
