Bicheres (Koine Greek: Bιχερης) is the hellenized name of possibly the fifth Pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty during the Old Kingdom of Egypt. The seat of power of this dynasty was Memphis. If an identification with Prince Baka, son of Djedefre, were to be correct, his original Egyptian name as king may have been Bakare (transliteration: bꜢ-kꜢ-rꜤ, meaning: "Spirit and Soul of Re"). Alternatively, he may be identical to Prince Baufre, an alleged son of Khufu. Bicheres is one of the shadowy rulers of the Old Kingdom and his existence is disputed, since he is completely unattested in contemporary sources.
