Brazierbearer was an ancient Egyptian occupational title held by priests. A brazier was a four-lobed portable ritual grill and had an important function during religious offerings and funerary rites. They were used to burn incense or offerings of food to a deity or the deceased. Braziers were lifted by their lobes and thus able to be moved without burning the user.

Shuroy was Chief Brazierbearer at the temple of Amun in Karnak and is shown in his TT13 tomb kneeling with braziers before the goddess Hathor.
