Golden tongue

Golden tongues were occasionally buried with Egyptian mummies during the Hellenistic through Roman periods. Golden tongues were placed in mummies so that the deceased could speak to deities in the afterlife. The golden tongues were also associated with the god Osiris. This practice is possibly due to the Egyptian belief that the body parts of the gods were made of gold.
