Heracleopolis Magna (Koine Greek: Ἡρακλεόπολις Μεγάλη), or Hut-Nisutensheri (transliteration: ḥwt-nỉswt-n-šrỉ, meaning: "House of the Child-Pharaoh"), is an Ancient Egyptian city on the west bank of the Nile, located in Upper Egypt. It was the capital city of Nehet-Khent, the twentieth nome of Upper Egypt. The ancient settlement was located at the modern city of Ihnasiya el-Medina (Arabic: إهناسيا المدينة).
