Khamure (transliteration: ḫꜤ-mw-rꜤ) is the throne name of a Pharaoh of the Fourteenth Dynasty during the Second Intermediate Period. He was of Canaanite origin and ruled from Avaris over the eastern Nile Delta in Lower Egypt.
Khamure cannot be linked to any king listed in the Turin Canon. He is merely attested by two scarab-shaped seals of unknown provenance bearing his prenomen.[1] Since the Turin Canon lists many kings by their prenomen, Khamure did probably originally feature in one of the document's lacunae. Alternatively, he may be identical to the "…re" of the Turin Canon.
