Leontopolis (ancient Egyptian: tꜣ-rm.w, modern: Tell el-Muqdam) is an Ancient Egyptian city in Lower Egypt, located near the center of the Nile Delta. It was the provincial capital of Kaheseb, the eleventh nome of Lower Egypt.
