Menat-Khufu (ancient Egyptian: mn-ꜥt-ḫwfw, modern: Minya) is an Ancient Egyptian city on the west bank of the Nile, located in Upper Egypt. It was the capital city of Mahedj, the sixteenth nome of Upper Egypt. However, at some point during the Middle Kingdom it was replaced as the provincial capital by either Hebenu or Herwer.
