Ombos (ancient Egyptian: nbt, modern: Kom Ombo) is an Ancient Egyptian city on the east bank of the Nile, located in Upper Egypt. It governed under Ta-Seti, the first nome of Upper Egypt. However, during the Hellenistic Period it became the provincial capital of its own Ombite nome.
