Royal Butler (ancient Egyptian: wbꜣ-nsw) was an ancient Egyptian occupational title held by high officials. While the Steward supervised all staff within a particular royal estate, the royal butler was in charge of all the staff employed inside the palace itself and reported to the Steward. The royal butler supervised the Royal Cupbearer, who in turn was in charge of the kitchen staff.
