Tefnut is the primordial goddess moisture, moist air, dew, and rain. She is part of The Ennead of Heliopolis. Atum-Ra made Tefnut and her twin brother Shu as the first ones in existence after creation. Tefnut and Shu married and became the parents of Geb, the earth-god, and Nut, the sky-goddess. Tefnut was hence the grandmother of Osiris, Isis, Set, and Nephthys.
